Brigit Bram was the wife of Elias Bram, the mother of Emer Bram, and the grandmother of David Menlo. Along with her daughter, she sailed away to America to escape Astaroth's forces.

During the great siege, Elias told his wife to flee with the others. She refused and insisted on waiting for his return on the shore. Since Elias fell in battle, Brigit spent the rest of her days wading in the water. One day she disappeared, and a rock resembling a woman appeared in her place. This is how Brigit's Vigil got its name.
