The Fiend and the Forge[]

Tweedy is with Cooper and Miss Boon, exclaiming to Miss Boon that he needs a hundred more scribes that afternoon, and he had all the Highland Hares helping. Miss Boon calmly tells Tweedy that, while she was sympathetic to the situation, she needed to clear his requests with the director. Tweedy, beginning to hop up and down in exasperation, says that he has submitted hundreds of queries to the director's office, without a response. Cooper tells the gray-brown hare he was sure he had. Tweedy turns to glare at the agent and tells him he had not expected him to understand, but he had thought Hazel was a women of education and refinement. For a second Max, who had been watching the conversation with Julie, thinks that the defiant hare's mouth may have gotten him in trouble, but the Agent rises from the table and tells Miss Boon he would go. As Tweedy raises his paw to make another point Miss Boon sighs and tells Cooper she would see him later.
